I think this is wonderful and I am so sorry for your loss. Your wife seemed like she was very outgoing and full of life. What a loss and tragedy. I think this is a wonderful tribute to a very tragic situation. Good luck.Sue

Dear Bruce and girls: I am a member and the organist at Pastor Don Wagner's church in Hoffman, MN. We were all touched by what happened to your family and will continue to keep you all in our prayers. Larry, Kayla and I will be sending a donation for Tracy's Sanctuary House as part of our "Christmas Giving". We no longer do a lot of shopping for Christmas but instead donate to a good cause and this is one of the best ones I can think of doing this year. Merry Christmas and God's Blessing to all of you!

My heart goes out to you in your family's loss. But what a tribute to build from this tragedy. Best to you and Tracy's Sanctuary!

Bruce and family, I never actually met Tracy but I feel, through the family, that I do know her and I am 100% positive she is in Heaven watching over all of you. I have not heard one unkind word about Tracy and I can see, in the girls, that they have a lot of her attributes. They are both beautiful young ladies, Tracy (and Bruce) definitely raised the girls in a loving , caring home and this is evidenced in how they carry themselves. You should be , (and I know you are), proud of them! Thank God for His Mercy and I believe Tracys Sanctuary House will bring lots of comfort to other grieving families. God Bless you. Your Brother in Christ, Nick Choukalos

My husband has been in and out the hospital fighting Cancer. Since his diagnosis it has been financial straining. Brandon at the Cancer Center in Bismarck set us up with Kelsey, Tracy's daughter. She is a great young lady. I am so glad that there is a place like this in North Dakota. Thank you all so much!

My husband and I actually were the 1st couple to get married in the chapel this past summer Aug 3, 2013. Tracy's brother in law Rieny Rittel was one of our witnesses. It was a great little chapel and it meant alot to us that he suggested the sanctuary house especially since my husband was from Bismarck.

My wife (Donna) is staying at your home at this very moment ( Feb. 28th, 2007 during a winter storm). She is receiving radiation treatments at The Cancer Center (4blks South of your home). Donna and I (my-self mostly) have had an on-again off-again thoughts about just such a home in Huron, SD ... where we lived for 21yrs. and where one of our two children and her family live. It's a real blessing knowing she is able to walk to her appointments should the weather dis-allow driving. And, this has eased my burden while trying to carry on with the duties of caring for (3) congregations.

Hi Peggy, Don & families, After reading the article in the Tribune about your open house for Saturday 12-9-06....I went on the website. I am very impressed with the site and I finally saw the results of what we visited about on the phone. What a beautiful 'sanctuary'. It's a work of art....what dedication on everyones part. Someday, I'll get to an open house! Will check the website for photos of the chapel later. Merry Christmas to you with love, BJF

I don't know either of you but I was so sorry to hear about your tradgedy and am so proud of you for what you are doing! If I lived in Dickinson I would have given my time to help you get things going. You have to be very proud of yourself for the accomplishments you have achieved in setting up Tracys Sanctuary House. What a beautiful tribute for your wife!! Keep working at it until you have it just the way she would have wanted it! Sincerely, Mary. (Jodi's Mom)

I think this is a wonderful place that has been established in the Bismarck area. Last Christmas my family experienced a family crisis in Minot and staying in hotels for a week gets very costly. I wish there had been something like Tracys house for my family to stay at. Again this is a great place for families to stay at and I wish you all the best in keeping it going. Theresa Goehring

This is a wonderful way to keep your wife/mother's spirit alive. Though I never had to deal with the sorrow that you've gone thru, I can understand the need to have a place 'of your own' to go to while out of town. Our Heavenly Father and Tracy are looking down apon you and your daughters and they are pleased. Special people like you are one in a million. May Tracy's Sanctuary forever florish and help many that are in their time of grief, sorrow and need. God bless you. Thank you.
