2008 Spring Newsletter
Dear Friends of Tracy’s Sanctuary House:
Hello everyone! It has been very busy at Tracy’s Sanctuary House over the past months. Here are some of the highlights:
We have a beautiful new pond in the backyard, courtesy of Schneider’s Flowerama and the United Way Day of Caring. We were fortunate enough to have 12 volunteers from area businesses, Don Arndt, Peggy Arndt, Andy Schneider, and a crew from Schneider’s Flowerama on hand to complete the project in one day.

2007 Winter Newsletter
Dear Friends of Tracy’s Sanctuary House:
Where to start? In the past six months we have accomplished so much, it’s hard to know where to begin! Maybe the best thing to do is to start where we left off last August.
The basement project was completed this Fall. Don and Peggy Arndt, along with an insulating contractor, a sheetrock contractor, and a gang of volunteers, worked on making the basement warmer for our guests. They furred out the concrete walls, added insulation, added sheet rock, and finally painted the walls. Peggy then worked her magic and decorated the rooms—again! Each bedroom now boasts a queen size bed as well as a rocker/recliner. The larger room also has a twin size bed for those families who need more sleeping space.
2006 Summer Newsletter
Dear Friends of Tracy’s Sanctuary House:
Wow, what a whirlwind the past year has been! Beginning with the purchase of the House in August 2005, starting the remodeling in October in order to get ready for the grand opening on December 10, and then hosting our first family on December 18. Our volunteers and supporters have been great! That’s an understatement to say the least as none of this could have taken place without you. A simple “Thank You!” doesn’t seem enough, but know we are eternally grateful for your help!
We have had 15 families stay with us since opening the House to guests on December 12. They have come from North and South Dakota and even California! Some of the reasons for staying with us:

In Tracy’s memory — He dreams of a ‘Sanctuary House’
Tracy was his soulmate. He knew her. He loved her deeply. But when a thousand people turned up, between her funeral at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mandan and her celebration of life party at Cashman Nursery in Bismarck, Bruce Rittel was still astounded. So many people...
