A Legacy of Kindness
Tracy’s Sanctuary House was established in 2005 in honor of Tracy Rittel. On August 9, 2004, Tracy was killed in a car accident near Fargo, ND. While waiting to hear about her status, her distraught family had difficulty finding a suitable place to stay. Coping with her death, her family envisioned a sanctuary for other families in the same traumatic situation.
Tracy had a big impact on the people she met during her life and would go out of her way to make other people’s lives joyful and happy. Tracy’s Sanctuary House is her legacy.
Charitable Donations
As a 501(c)(3), the donation fund is used to maintain the sanctuary home in Tracy’s memory. Any donations made are used for the necessary costs and services needed to provide comfort to those in need.
